RETURN POLICY:
We are happy to accept approved exchanges within 14 days of receipt. Items must be in original, unworn condition and packaging. CUSTOM ORDERS ARE NOT RETURNABLE OR EXCHANGEABLE. Please email [email protected] or use our Contact Form with questions.

How long does it take to get my item?

Each piece is made to order so please allow up to 7 business days for us to make & ship your item (we try our hardest to get orders out within 1-5 business days, though). If you have a rush order please let us know and we’ll try to accomodate, rush fee’s may apply. Custom orders take longer and we’ll let you know individually. 

SHIPPING

US Standard USPS Priority & First Class Mail: 

All Domestic orders are shipped either USPS First Class or Priority Mail, depending on your preference. Priority means they should arrive 2-4 days after the day they were sent and have tracking available with each order and First Class is 3-10 days with NO REPLACEMENTS OR REFUNDS IF LOST OR DAMAGED. The USPS is generally good about deliveries, they do occasionally have mix-ups. If there are any issues with your delivery, we’ll do our best to get your item to you ASAP, but please remember the USPS is out of our control once the package leaves our hands!

International
Canada & International WITH TRACKING:: RECOMMENDED!

These International orders are shipped via USPS Global Priority. There IS tracking on these items so if they are lost in the mail we WILL take responsibility and send you new items. This method is strongly recommended, but can still take several weeks to arrive. If you’d like to get a better quote, you can find your shipping method’s website and use our USA zipcode: 02860 to figure out your transit time. We wish there was a better price option for International orders!

International
Canada & International NO TRACKING

These International orders are shipped via USPS Standard First Class Global Mail. There is NO tracking on these items so if they are lost in the mail we can NOT take responsibility. These items take upwards of 6 weeks sometimes, especially to Australia & Canada. This is an option if you are willing to risk your item not arriving as we take no responsibility for items shipped without tracking. We wish there was a better price option for International orders!

Shipping a return or exchange?

Please ship all items back to us using USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, this is around $6. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipment.

Please email us for shipping address so we know to expect your package and can give you our address.

Repairs:
Each Figs piece is checked at every stage to ensure it’s in top notch condition. If something happens to slip by please email us right away to let us know what went wrong. If it’s something on our end we’ll fix & ship it back at no charge. We’re happy to do repairs on pieces that have seen unfortunate obstacles in your daily life, and we can quote you when you email us with a description. If you find something wrong with your piece, DO NOT WEAR IT!!! If you do, and it breaks or gets lost, we can’t do anything about it. 

Custom Orders:
We’re sorry! We just don’t have the time to accommodate custom orders right now. Feel free to email us, as sometimes we can tweek things in your piece, but we generally have to say no. Sorry!

Jewelry Care:
As we’ve mentioned, Figs & Ginger pieces are made by hand. This means your piece should last for generations, but is a bit more delicate than something made by a machine.Our jewelry is made of sterling silver, unless otherwise noted, and given a black patina. The patina is a great for all of us who don’t enjoy the upkeep of sterling jewelry as there is no polishing required. In fact, if you do polish it, you will take the patina off. If you scratch, or continually bump a piece in the same area, and you notice the patina coming off feel free to send it back to be re-applied. It’s best not to wear your jewelry while you sleep, exercise or shower. Just be mindful and you’ll keep your Figs & Ginger piece looking super cute for a super long time!

Do you have a Return Policy?
We do not accept returns on items damaged by regular wear & tear of life, but we can do repairs-see ‘repairs’ above. If your piece arrived damaged you’ll need to notify us within 7 days of the receipt listed through your tracking number, and we will proceed from there. If you received something as a gift and would like to exchange it for something else, we will do that, or we will allow a store credit. We do not offer cash refunds, only store credit. Please ship all items back to us using USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, and no required signature.

Do you care about our planet?
Do we ever! Running a responsible small business is top priority to us. We promise that we make as many ‘green’ decisions as we possibly can. We are always exploring and researching new ways of cutting down waste, we always recycle, and we try to reinvent most everything we can salvage. All of our literature is printed on 50%-100% post consumer recycled stock, we use local independently owned printers who use soy based inks and hydro electricity. How do you make your jewelry?
We use traditional methods of silver & metal-smithing, each piece is either forged, sawed, or cast from sterling silver unless otherwise noted. The chains are not made by hand. We has a small studio space in the back yard where the jewelry making happens. We also have “The Wolf”, our jewelry assembly & office space. It’s a pink and teal trailer.
